Össur Academy North Europe is looking for a Clinical Specialist

We are looking for a customer and project focused clinician to join our North Europe Academy team localised in the Nordic market. Your role within the team will be both to support our sales team and customers to help reach successful clinical outcomes.

As a new member in the team, you will be a resource responsible for communicating both knowledge and clinical skills regarding Össur’s products and concepts internally and externally. It will also be important for you to build customer relations; therefore, we highly appreciate a positive attitude with the will to learn, to be a team player and also to be self-propelling, working individually and with customers out in the field. 

We think that success is based on a team effort where the individual contributes with know-how of products and concepts based on evidence-based practice, and how to add value regarding customer support, technical/clinical support and follow up/evaluations, both remote and at location. You will be expected to hold seminars and workshops.

Össur Academy North Europe is a regional support function working closely together with the sales units primarily Össur Nordic but also with Össur UK and Össur Benelux. These markets together create one of five regions within Össur global sales, North Europe. North Europe Academy contains of members distributed in all business units, including two existing colleagues in the Nordic market.

Working area: Primarily the markets in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Customers are mainly O&P clinics and CPO´s. You are also able to support/educate physiotherapists and doctors connected to the pathway of a prosthetic patient.

Location: Sweden optional in Norway, Finland, Denmark. An advantage is to have close to good travel options.

Report to: Manager Academy North Europe.

Travels: Ap. 50 night/year depending on location- own planning and booking of travels.


  • Licensed Prosthetist & Orthotist (CPO) with clinical experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a comparable position. 
  • Native language should be some of the Nordic languages. Good knowledge of English (spoken and written) is required.
  • Utilises the most commonly used PC and IOS platforms/software.
  • Valid driver’s license.
